Out of the box Sampler Review

This was my first Out of the Box Sampler, and I was very pleased! The box was definitely packed full!
 Yay! Big box!
Here is the box opened, some food items in seperate bags (smart!) the golden ticket bag, and the box hiding in the bottom. I ordered the September Think Pink Sampler for $25 and I also bought the Golden Ticket bag for just $7 more. Shipping was included.
Food: 3 honey sticks from Kline Farm, a white chocolate ribbon sucker from FanTABulous Treats (it was broken but I gobbled it right up anyways, yum!), 2 tea cookies from The Princess Cakes, a bag of The Keeper Tea from Dryad Tea, and some soft mints.
All the stuff in the picture above was from the golden ticket bag!
Acai berry lipgloss from tiki bar soap, mmm smells amazing!
Button, Magnet, Flatback, and zipper pull from koolmagnetics. Cute ideas!
Package from Got Decalz including a ribbon decal, a bookmark, a gorgeous photo, and cards. Photo from two peas photography.
A very nicely packaged bar of soap in Cotton Candy, my favorite! From nicolemadethis
Another pretty bar of soap in Asian Plum from Sherry's Lavishing Soap and Bath
Mmmm, a warm vanilla sugar tart from Jarhead Primitives, smells exactly like the bath & body works stuff!

A Goat milk bath tea from The barn and more, smells...milky :)

A smartly packaged (the oil leaked) bag of vanilla rose green tea bath soak, enough for 2-3 baths, from rechercheorganics.com

Whew! not bad for a $7 bag!
Now for the main event! Cute package!
 Looks pretty full to me!
Gorgeous washcloth from Mel is Crafty
Vanilla rose lotion, in a chapstick container, I am assuming you use it like a lotion bar, from Meadow's Own
Cute pacakge from the sponsor, two adorable hair barrettes from Zandy Land.
More from Tiki Bar Soap, glad its a different item than what was in the bag, Frozen Margarita soap, uh YUM!
Sweet drawstring bag and tiny lotion sample from Prairie Violet
Cute polymer clay cupcake from claycrab 23, not sure what to do with this though??? Any suggestions?
Lipstick sample, and lipbalm sample with super smart packaging from red apple lipstick.
Love Thyself Spell Candle from Joie Joelle, smells better than the first one I received.
Pink Grapefruit bath bomb from OrNaVe Aromatherapeutics, love these!
Cute dangle earrings from Alaska stixs n stones.
3 different soap samples from the Barn and More, each with a sticker of their soap base and a paper that states their benefits, juicy peach, oatmeal and milk, and mango sorbet, all smell wonderful but my favorite is the juicy peach!
Large sample (if you would even call it that) from poodle dance, melting bar in Surf's Up, good not great.
Mmmm Southern Pecan Pie shea butter soap from Angela's Country Creations, smells like I want to eat it!
Pink Melon soap from Creative Fusion, not my favorite but some might like it!
Cute breast cancer awareness cell phone charm from Kyote's Kreations
Very fragrant soap slice from Rocky Corner Soapworks, dedicated to a lost friend of breast cancer. Called Kimmie's Heart, but I can't describe the smell, sweet, clean, and womanly. :)
Silver Bubbbles Shamrocks and Aloe Pet Shampoo.

I received two gift bags in the box, like the one I received in the bag that included a beautiful photo, a bookmark, and a decal. Luckily all my photos were different, and they are now hanging on my fridge. :)

Lastly, a tiny smaple of bath salts from Je Vie, smell great, but not even enough for one bath...

I loved my Out of the Box Sampler! Tons of samples and great packaging!!!

Olive Box Review

I signed up for the trial box from pink olive called Olive Box, it is a box geard towards paper lovers, and since I cant pass up a great deal, I signed up for it! The trial box was $15, but I think the subsriptions will be somewhere around $24, don't quote me on that.
Cute packaging, always a plus!

An envelope with a note about the box and how this first box was inspired by blooms, aka flowers.

Here is what I received, super fast shipping by the way, Knot & Bow heart stickers, Lavender and Oatmeal handcrafted olive oil soap by Saipua, and two items from rifle paper co. (which is the same company who was in my first lost crates-joy the baker box...odd), two little notebooks or journals, and a very cute card "Wishing You Comfort" blank inside.
Not bad for a $15 box, but I don't feel the need to add to my paper collection, so I think I will skip on this supbscription.

Little Black Box

Ok I have been a total slacker :( we went on vacation for a week, then baby girl was sick for a week, then I didn't MAKE time to catch up. Although nothing new has taken place in those few weeks, I still feel the need to apologize for not making something awesome happen.

Anywho...todays post is about a little black box, literally! I do not recall how I came across this sampler box (my new obsession) but I ordered it and I love it! First of all, the lady is based out of Texas,, which is where I am! And she has great customer service! She just recently posted that she will no longer be in charge though so I hope the boxes stay around! I'm not sure why this one doesn't seem to be as popular as the others but maybe she's getting there! Check her out! thelittleblackboxes.com

The boxes go on sale the first of every month and once they're gone they're gone. They are $20 a month which includes shipping, plus sales tax if you live in Texas. They also sell gift bags which are $6 and have fewer samples. She also has an incentive program for contributing and referrals.

So now the fun stuff! This months sponsor was Mistress Rae's Decadent Designs

The box didn't even fit in my mailbox, which was exciting!

Cute "little black box" with their signature turquoise bow!
 Filled with goodies!
Package from the sponsor, cute halloween theme!
Soft mints (my fave!), 2 postcards, some advertisement cards, earrings, and a cute halloween bow, perfect for baby girl!
If you look closely you can see the fabric on the bow has sparkly bats on it :)
 Cute simple earrings

This was apparently leftover from last years halloween box, but it was still a cute addition, it's a fabric bracelet

Super cute and halloween-y!

Little crochet circles, I see most people use them as face scrubbies.
These are so simple but I love them!
Cute little bobby pins with rhinestones in a pretty amber color!
Simple little notepad made from a card game
The only candle tart, but it smells delicious! Exactly like the name-Cherry Slushie!
2 sets of cute dangle earrings
 Package from Brieabella's
Orange clove scented lotion, very fall-ish and a slice of soap, I e-mailed her to get the scent because it wasn't labeled. But it smells very good!
Cute cup package from Lucia Carrill
Candy, a cute and strong magnet, and their signature pendant made with limited edition scrabble tiles
Beeswax Peace Spell Candle, very earthy
And the cutest bag of "sand" which is bath salts, and a "seashell" which is soap, sand and sun fragrance, smells like summer!
Overall I loved my sample box from Little Black Box, I hope the new ownership goes over well, I was very pleased with all my samples. I received about 16 acutal samples, along with lots of discount cards, a few postcards, brochures, a pamphlet, and business cards.
